The Right Place, At the Right Time
Growing up in Venezuela, Claudia Restrepo, of Miami, FL, was surrounded by family, and friends who, now worked in all different types of professions and she thought she knew what she wanted to do with her life.
“I loved the medical field because I enjoyed helping people stay healthy and feel good about themselves,” recalls Claudia. “I eventually went into dentistry, which I found very fulfilling, and I was successful at it. But events in Venezuela led me to make the difficult choice of leaving everyone and everything I knew behind, to come to the United States. Once here, I would basically, have to re-test and requalify to practice dentistry, which led me to look for other areas for my life’s work. My goal was to find a profession that would allow me to achieve the same rewards as dentistry without having to start at square one with new medical boards.”

JOINING FORCES
Along the way, Claudia met Alfonso through Primerica. “Initially, we connected through shared interests — personal growth and building our businesses,” remembers Alfonso. “But, over time, our partnership evolved into more.”
Alfonso began his Primerica journey in September of 2011, when he was just 18. “I joined Primerica back then because I was excited and impressed with the fact that this Company gives anybody who wants the ability to become a leader and build something with long-term potential,” he says. “But the time just wasn’t right for me at that moment. Then, in 2019, while I was working as a customer care supervisor for an airline, I came back to Primerica — more mature and more determined with a renewed focus and commitment. I returned because of the entrepreneurial aspect of Primerica really appealed to me. It had all the things I liked about my job at the airline — solving problems and making people’s experiences better. Primerica offered me the chance to build my own business and lead a team while making a meaningful difference in people’s lives. That really appealed to me.”3, 4, 5

Since teaming up, Claudia and Alfonzo have been in growth mode. “We both love the fact that Primerica takes the things we liked about our previous professions and transforms them,” says Alfonso. “We work with families to help them gain the knowledge to protect their families, gain financial security, and, ultimately, help them achieve their long-term financial goals. Additionally, we find it incredibly fulfilling to mentor and support others on our team as they work toward their own goals. Watching them grow, overcome challenges, and succeed is inspiring. LOOKING TO THE FUTURE
Claudia and Alfonso are more excited and optimistic than ever about what the future holds for them. “Our immediate future plans are definitely centered around expansion,” she says. “We’re focused on growing our Primerica business both in terms of building a larger client base and expanding our team. We want to reach more families and help them secure their financial futures, while also developing a strong network of motivated individuals who share our passion for financial empowerment.”
Alfonso adds, “The flexibility and control we have over our business is unlike anything we could find anywhere else.
