FINDING THEIR WAY
Nardin grew up in Atlanta and always knew he wanted to be an entrepreneur. Both his parents had their own businesses, and he had the same aspirations. “I knew I didn’t want to work for someone else,” he remembers.
“I used to sell items at school and at various events, so I steadily gained experience in sales and customer service. I tried different businesses for about five years and started a business management degree in college. When I was 19 years old, I was approached about Primerica.”
Aisha grew up a world away in Manchester, England, in a family that traditionally held successful corporate jobs. “There were no entrepreneurs in my family,” she explains. “I worked for many years in child services, but ultimately landed a job at Inland Revenue (similar to the Internal Revenue Service).”
Aisha liked helping people and was happy to carry that passion into her new endeavors after the couple met in England through a friend. “For a time, I thought Nardin would move to England,” she says. “I ended up moving to the United States.”
Nardin was working as an account manager and building a part-time Primerica business; Aisha soon joined him. “The tax preparation business was seasonal,” Nardin explains. “We would make money from December to May. The rest of the year we needed to create some income during our off-season. I leveraged my Primerica business throughout the years until we were ready to leave our tax business and go to work with Primerica full-time.”

GROWING A FAMILY
Nardin and Aisha have now been married for over a decade and have three wonderful children: Nalani, Nasiha, and Zaynab. With their children at different ages and phases, Nardin and Aisha understand how busy family life can be, and all the ups and downs that come with everyday life, but are thankful that their Primerica business offers them the flexibility that works for their schedules.

MAKING AN IMPACT

The couple recalls a business colleague they hadn’t spoken to in a while. Nardin and Aisha did their routine follow up, and met with him and his new wife to set up a financial game plan. Three months later, his wife unexpectedly passed away. “It scares me to think what would have happened if we hadn’t followed up with him and made sure his family was covered,” reflects Nardin.
“The couple had a son, and the client doesn’t have to worry about how he will help his son heal while dealing with new financial problems and responsibilities. This experience was another reminder for us that we were in the right business with a Company that truly cares about people.”
