A Chance to Be Somebody
In the summer of 2016, 21-year-old Juba Menguellet, of Laval, QC, was wrapping up his university days with a bachelor’s degree in business administration. “The corporate world was going to be my future. That’s what I saw for myself at the time. I didn’t know any other way,” remembers Juba. But things were soon to change.

Finding the Opportunity
“A friend invited me to a meeting to learn about this company he’d been looking into called Primerica. I went, really as a favor to him,” smiles Juba. “But when I got to the meeting, I was impressed with the How Money Works™ financial education guide concepts being presented, and I was really interested in the business opportunity she outlined.1,2 After the meeting, I spoke at some length with the lady. Her name was Rim Karout, and she invited me to the next meeting.”

Juba attended the next meeting where he spoke again with Rim about the Primerica business opportunity. “I ended up signing up with Primerica that night,” he recalls fondly. “I was excited because I could see my way forward to do my own thing. I wasn’t going to get out of school and get a job. This was my chance to be somebody.”

Seeing the “Biggness” of Primerica
Juba set about learning the business and making connections. Very soon he was helping clients and building his own team of Primerica Representatives. “I was concentrating on getting traction, working toward getting a critical mass to prove to myself, my family, to everyone that I could do this thing.”

A year later, in 2017, Juba attended the Primerica Convention, held in Indianapolis, IN. “I knew Primerica was a big company, but the Convention really opened my eyes. Primerica wasn’t just a company; it was a movement!”

Once back home, Juba enlisted the help of a cousin who was supportive of his work. “He put me in touch with people he thought could use my help,” says Juba. As fate would have it, one of those people was a young woman named Oumnia.

The Start of a Great Partnership
“We have a great Partnership because we complement each other,” Juba says. “A Primerica business is about helping families be prepared financially and it’s about building a team to do that and making sure they have the training they need to be successful.”

In 2020 Juba and Oumnia opened their own Primerica office. “We’re proud to be serving Main Street families in our community,” says Oumnia. “It’s Primerica’s mission to serve the underserved population of everyday people who are often ignored by the financial services industry. It’s our job to get them financial solutions that fit what they need and help them map out a successful financial future.”

Always Growing
“Juba and I have both ‘grown up’ in this business and we still are growing,” continues Oumnia. “We’re both competitive and we’re always looking for others who are as well — people who want to transform their lives the way we are doing.”

Juba says he and Oumnia each bring their own strengths to those efforts. He says proudly: “We’re forging on together because we’re of one mind, sharing the day-to-day work and the successes. We’re building a family business and we’re building our dream because we both have always wanted to be somebody!”PRIMERICA and the Primerica Logo are trademarks of Primerica, Inc., registered in the U.S. and Canada.
