On May 9 and 10, Primerica once again participated as a Presenting Sponsor in the Gwinnett County Relay for Life – the largest Relay for Life in the world.
Relay for Life is an organized, overnight community fundraising walk. Teams of people camp out around a track, and members of each team take turns walking around the track. Food, games and activities provide entertainment and build camaraderie. It is a family-friendly environment for the entire community that raises funds for the American Cancer Society. This year, Primerica’s theme was “Sowing Seeds of Hope and Cultivating a Cure.”
Primerica organized 15 teams from the employees at their international headquarters. The teams designed interesting and profitable fundraisers over the months preceding the big event. Various raffles, the annual tricycle race, Picnic on the Patio, a fish fry, Cookies by the Pound, the St. Patrick’s Day Brunch, and numerous bake sales and auctions helped the teams to garner donations. While there are still donations to be counted, Primerica’s contribution to the American Cancer Society’s 2014 Relay for Life will exceed $80,000.

I just wanted to say thank you!! I’m a returning rep who has recently been diagnosed with breast cancer so seeing something like this makes me even more proud to be representing such an amazing company. My return to Primerica actually came about in large part to my cancer diagnosis after having to deal with another insurance company for my group benefits and realizing first-hand how badly most clients are treated during a very difficult and stressful time. I worked as the office manager for my RVP so was able to personally witness the difference in how our company works with our clients instead of working against them so consistently. So thank you…..for being such a fabulous company as a client and as a very proud representative!!!
