It is with great sadness that we announce that our wonderful friend, Barbara King, has passed away. She was a great friend and one of the true heroes of our company’s great history.
Barbara was a true force of nature and pioneer. She created a legacy that changed the way we do business. Barbara built our communications and corporate relations departments, was the driving force of “Women in Primerica,” and was instrumental in some of the company’s greatest field-related strategic initiatives.
More than that, Barbara was an extraordinary person. Her civic and community service accomplishments were unparalleled. She combined a great intellect and sense of people with a drive and willpower that let her accomplish any objective she set. These qualities — attached to a great heart — let her leave a genuine and lasting impact on this world. There is hardly anyone of importance in Georgia – and in Primerica — who did not respect and like her.
