Primerica Heads Home to the Dome
Atlanta city leaders, reporters from the Atlanta Journal-Constitution and the Atlanta Business Chronicle, the Atlanta Convention & Visitors Bureau (ACVB) and top Primerica, Inc. executives met on June 17, to celebrate the return of Atlanta’s largest corporate meeting: the biannual Primerica Convention.
Primerica announced the return of our Convention to Atlanta’s Georgia World Congress Center (GWCC) and Georgia Dome, which will be held June 15-18, 2011. The Primerica Convention boasts more than 50,000 attendees and is expected to impact the local economy by generating more than $57.8 million.
“Signing for our 2011 Convention signifies a triumphant return as a Georgia-based public company,” enthused John A. Addison, chairman of Primerica Distribution, and co-CEO and Director of Primerica, to the gathered crowd. “Primerica’s representatives from all 50 states, Canada and Puerto Rico value this Convention as an investment in their businesses, and we are thrilled to be back and able to provide this opportunity for professional development.” Added chairman of the board and co-CEO D. Richard Williams, “By holding the event locally … we also support our hometown.”
ACVB President and CEO, William Pate, also expressed his excitement. “The conventions industry is an insurance policy for the city and the Primerica Convention plays a big role in Atlanta’s success.”
Primerica began holding its Convention in Atlanta in 1993. The event is so large it utilizes three wings of the GWCC, encompassing 1.4 million square feet of exhibition space. General sessions are hosted in the Georgia Dome in effort to accommodate Primerica’s thousands of attendees.

The return of the convention is powerful. It’s been a long time since the last convention and hundreds of teammates have been added to our team. This gives them the opportunity to experience ALL of Primerica. Which helps them to paint a big picture for themselves and their families. Plus the energy and excitment picked up at the convention can’t be duplicated anywhere. We are excited to bring all of our existing team and new team to Atlanta in 2011. I love what this company stands for, represents and provides for anybody willing to put the effort into themselves and others.
I am excited about this event. I attended the last one in 2007, and that’s when I made the decision this was what I was going to do. Now my goal is to run across the stage as a newly promoted RVP.

My husband Sam & I had just gotten involved with Primerica in May, a month before the convention in 2007. It was one of the most memorable events of our lives, that was it for us. The unity, synergy, love, respect & passion to help the masses, that said every thing to us. We will be there again going across stage as RVP’s w/ our family & TEAM INTEGRITY. Hey !!!!!! We are so……excited. PRIMERICA is headed back home to the dome and we are headed to our RVP contract. PLEASE pray with us that it is in God”s will for us to accomplish this task. If it is God’s will we will have an opportunity to run across the stage with our primerica family at our side. Pray for us !!!

My husband and I were just new to Primerica when we were told that we were going to the convention in 2009. We were so excited and proud, and then when the Base Shop received the news that it was cancelled we were devisated to say the least! My husband was so upset he mourned for a week. We are pumped for the 2011 Atlanta convention and our business is booming right now! I can’t wait to cross the stage in Atlanta!! See you all at the top!!!!

I didn’t know what the Dome was until last week. I’ve been in Primerica for a year and after the Hawes Recharge in June, I’m finally getting what this is that I’m a part of! Can’t wait to be in the Dome getting promoted to RVP!
