Sisters In Sync
Giuliana Nicoletti
Miami, FL
Former Occupation: Restaurant Worker and Teacher
Angie Nicoletti
Miami, FL
Former Occupation: Restaurant Manager/Student

Nicoletti sisters Giuliana and Angie moved with their parents to the United States from their native Peru by way of California. At the time, Giuliana was 21, and Angie was 12. They were financially comfortable thanks to a restaurant their parents owned, but they still wanted better career opportunities for their daughters.

Starting Out
Introduced to Primerica in 2016, Giuliana knew this was the Opportunity she had been waiting for. Up until then, she worked as a teacher, and at the family’s restaurant and catering company. “My father was always a business owner,” remembers Giuliana. “My parents worked hard to provide an enjoyable middle-class lifestyle for us, and I longed to own my own business, too.” At first, she started her own soccer school, but then put it on hold while she worked part-time in Primerica.1,2 Within 14 months, she became a Regional Vice President and left her other work behind. What she was doing with Primerica became her life’s mission.
Seeing the Need
“I found that in the U.S. Latin community – even among those who had immigrated decades ago – people simply didn’t know how to make their money work for them, for their future,” she explains. “I met one man who had worked for a company for 20 years and was not utilizing his 401(k). When I asked him why, he said his coworker told him their boss would take money out of his weekly paycheck, so he would be ‘earning less.’ Many people think all they will need to live comfortably is their Social Security check.”3,4 It was clear to Giuliana that she was on another mission – one of education. She needed to teach her community basic principles from the How Money Works™ financial education guide.5
Working Together
Angie was introduced to Primerica through Guiliana. Before that, Angie worked at the family’s restaurant and was studying to become a physical therapist. Today, the sisters work together building their own individual businesses side-by-side in Miami, Florida. “One of the benefits of working with Guiliana is that I am able to share her success along with my own,” Angie reflects. “If there are people looking to go into business with family members, we can show them how it can be done, and how we are able to work together with a shared passion. Celebrating our successes together keeps us excited and energized to keep helping others!”

Success Saves the Day
Over the past eight years, Giuliana and Angie have become successful enough to retire their parents. “They sold their restaurant and invested the proceeds,” says Giuliana. “Now they travel with friends and have total peace of mind. That’s a gift we couldn’t have given them without Primerica.”
“I love that there is no limit to our success,” smiles Angie. “The business has allowed me to make my dreams come true – like retiring my parents from their restaurant business and being able to support them financially when they need some extra help. This opportunity and success are not unique to just us, everyone is welcome!”
Teaching people concepts from the How Money Works™ financial education guide and how to build a business are “privileges” Angie says she doesn’t take for granted. She reflects, “Primerica gives everyone an equal opportunity, including people like me who weren’t born in this country and can have more challenges finding rewarding work.”
Winning Together
The duo is proud of how they’ve changed their lives and become entrepreneurs. “My sister and I have built our businesses on our own,” says Angie. “I know that when I become a mother, I will be able to spend more time with my children because I invested in myself and my business early on. I’m so excited for what the future holds!”
