Changing Lives

John & Brittany Cooper
Auburn Hills, MI
Former Occupation: Youth Minister

John & Brittany Cooper, of Auburn Hills, MI, first began their Primerica journey 14 years ago. Prior to building a career educating Main Street families with financial concepts and tools, the Coopers were dedicated youth ministers at their local church. Their calling had always been to bring people together, teach their community and empower individuals, so Primerica was a natural fit. As they sought out new opportunities beyond their current careers, they were able to take their passion to Primerica and begin building their business while helping their community.1

“We loved what we did, but financially we just couldn’t seem to get ahead,” John recalls.

“There was just way too much month left at the end of the money! When we learned about the Primerica Opportunity we felt right at home.2 Everything the Company stood for aligned with our dreams, values, and future goals. We knew right away this was the place where we could build a future together and continue to help our community.”

Today, John and Brittany are committed to helping their clients learn fundamental financial concepts, while providing the solutions to help them get on a better financial path. They believe that education is the most important financial tool out there and strive to give their clients just that.

“I have found that financial literacy just doesn’t seem to exist,” John explains. “If someone doesn’t self-educate, they likely live by a financial deficit. When we’re meeting with clients, we teach simple principles that they can use in their day-to-day finances. This is something we are very proud of.”

Bringing people together is a quality that has never left the Coopers. These incredible leaders have always wanted to use their business acumen to propel their community forward, and continue to work directly with their church.

“I feel honored to be a leader in our community not just because of our business, but because of leadership development. We now have the ability to give back, to take on leadership roles in our local church and to participate in mission trips throughout the US, as well as abroad. Primerica has given us a platform to truly change lives!”
