Taking a Stand for Main Street

Dhruba & Pramila Giri
Reynoldsburg, OH
Former Occupation: Chef

Dhruba & Pramila Giri, of Reynoldsburg, OH, came to America from Nepal prepared to fight for their dreams of building a promising new life. Working as a chef in a hotel, Dhruba quickly realized he wanted more. In 2009, these leaders decided to join Primerica with the hopes of helping people just like them – hardworking Main Street families.1

When Dhruba saw Primerica, he saw a chance to make a difference. “I learned quickly that I could help my community and my people,” he recalls. “Many of my clients are immigrants just like me. They might be uneducated when it comes to finances and the system we have here. This is when I took a stand for something and shared the mission of Primerica.”

Dhruba and Pramila realized that they had the opportunity to not only achieve their dreams, but to give their community the same opportunity. Showing compassion while educating their clients is a big part of their business. They are focused on giving their clients solutions at every Kitchen Table appointment.2

“We find the financial problems that make clients worry, and then we teach fundamental financial principles and give them tools to solve their problems,” Dhruba explains. “People trust Primerica and we are able to give them what they need to protect their futures and pursue their financial dreams – just like us! We want to improve their financial health.”

1 Primerica offers a business opportunity that involves the sale of term life insurance and various other financial service products. Primerica representatives are independent contractors, not employees. Their earnings are based on the sale of products offered by Primerica and also qualifying product referrals. Importantly, Primerica representatives must be appropriately licensed for each product line before they are qualified to make a sale. 2 Not all products/services are available in all states or provinces. A representative’s ability to market products is subject to state and federal licensing and/or certification requirements.
