Primerica Holiday Can-A-Thon a Super Success - Over 90,000 Cans Collected

What do you get when you combine Primerica Home Office volunteers with a goal to meet a need in the community?  An exceeded goal – that’s what!

2021 marked the first year Primerica held its own canned food drive at the Home Office in Duluth in conjunction with 11Alive’s annual Holiday Can-A-Thon. Primerica’s December 1 effort yielded enough canned goods to provide food for hungry families in need across the state of Georgia for an entire year!

Primerica set a goal to collect 30,000 cans and thanks to some friendly competition among Home Office teams, approximately 97,500 cans/items were collected within two hours at Primerica. The items will be combined with other regional donations and distributed to families in need by the end of December at the Salvation Army’s 13 Metro Atlanta-area food banks.
