Primerica was recently highlighted in an article in Life Annuity Specialist as a leading financial services company that provided special benefits and modified policies to its Home Office employees to reduce work from home stress and recognize their achievements during this time. Specifically, Primerica was recognized for paying one-time annual bonuses averaging $400 to employees who don’t normally receive one. Read the full article here.

In addition to the bonus, there are several other benefits and initiatives Primerica implemented for its employees during 2020. Primerica Executive Vice President and Chief Administrative Officer Lisa A. Brown said, “After successfully transitioning over 90% of our employees to a remote work environment, we implemented several new benefits in response to the challenges posed by COVID-19. We provided additional sick leave to all employees, relaxed guidelines around using vacation and sick time, created a special support group for parents with children involved in remote schooling, and offered virtual ‘lunch and learn’ events to help employees manage stress and anxiety in uncertain times.

“For the small number of our employees who came into our offices under strict health and safety protocols, we provided $50 Visa gift cards for every 10 days worked in the first half of the year, and we also provided free lunch one day a week for several months. Importantly, all of our employees who normally do not receive an annual bonus received a special, one-time bonus in recognition of their extraordinary efforts during the year.”
