Primerica’s proud to have great leaders from all walks of life. One of the company’s founders, Bobby Buisson, hasn’t been an inspiration only to Primerica. He made a lasting impression on best-selling author Pat Conroy many years ago when they battled each other on the college basketball court. In Conroy’s bestseller My Losing Season, he tells the story of how his competition with Buisson made him a better player … and a better person. Bobby and Red are the greatest examples of servant leadership that you will find anywhere. I read the book and everything that Conroy said holds true to this day. Bobby is super competitive and yet he finds great joy in encouraging and helping others to get better…even more than that he shows them what is possible if they are willing to take their foot off the proverbial brake and leave it all “on the court.”
I have never known people who have achieved the level of success that the Buisson’s have and they still keep on working, serving, teaching and mentoring anyone who has the desire to learn.
Beyond their own family, Bobby and Red have impacted generations of American families for the better.
