The 2013 Primerica Convention kicks off today in a big way! Registration for the convention was officially launched today on a special PFN-TV live broadcast and all Primerica representatives are invited to register for this huge event that will take place June 13-15.

Primerica’s Convention takes place every two years and this year’s event promises to be bigger and better than ever. This year’s convention is particularly exciting because Primerica will be moved into their new international headquarters at #1 Primerica Parkway in Duluth, Georgia. Representatives attending the convention will have an opportunity to tour the brand new headquarters for the first time.

The Primerica Convention lasts for three days and is expected to draw 40,000 or more Primerica representatives from across North America to downtown Atlanta. Meetings and events take place in the Georgia Dome and Georgia World Congress Center and it is estimated that the event will have a multi-million dollar economic impact on the Atlanta area.

What’s projected to have a $58 million economic impact on Atlanta1 – double that of the annual Chick-Fil-A Bowl?2 The 2011 Primerica Convention.

This June, an estimated 50,000 Primerica attendees will take over Atlanta’s Georgia Dome and the Georgia World Congress Center for its biennial Convention. Primerica representatives from across North America will travel in for the four-day event, creating a huge economic impact for the city.

“It is a very exciting moment for us as a company,” said John Addison, Primerica co-chief executive officer.

“The Primerica Convention is the ultimate championship event. There is so much energy and positivity all around you, that you can’t help but build belief in yourself and your Primerica business,” enthuses Primerica leader Shak Islam of Herndon, VA.

Atlanta city leaders, reporters from the Atlanta Journal-Constitution and the Atlanta Business Chronicle, the Atlanta Convention & Visitors Bureau (ACVB) and top Primerica, Inc. executives met on June 17, to celebrate the return of Atlanta’s largest corporate meeting: the biannual Primerica Convention.

Primerica announced the return of our Convention to Atlanta’s Georgia World Congress Center (GWCC) and Georgia Dome, which will be held June 15-18, 2011. The Primerica Convention boasts more than 50,000 attendees and is expected to impact the local economy by generating more than $57.8 million.

“Signing for our 2011 Convention signifies a triumphant return as a Georgia-based public company,” enthused John A. Addison, chairman of Primerica Distribution, and co-CEO and Director of Primerica, to the gathered crowd. “Primerica’s representatives from all 50 states, Canada and Puerto Rico value this Convention as an investment in their businesses, and we are thrilled to be back and able to provide this opportunity for professional development.” Added chairman of the board and co-CEO D. Richard Williams, “By holding the event locally … we also support our hometown.”

ACVB President and CEO, William Pate, also expressed his excitement. “The conventions industry is an insurance policy for the city and the Primerica Convention plays a big role in Atlanta’s success.”

Primerica began holding its Convention in Atlanta in 1993. The event is so large it utilizes three wings of the GWCC, encompassing 1.4 million square feet of exhibition space. General sessions are hosted in the Georgia Dome in effort to accommodate Primerica’s thousands of attendees.
