Primerica’s Chief Reputation Officer and Chair of The Primerica Foundation, Kathryn Kieser, recently spoke at a community panel hosted by the United Way of Greater Atlanta and the Gwinnett Chamber of Commerce. The panel focused on critical needs in the community including food insecurity, homelessness, health care, and literacy.

Kathryn talked about Primerica’s collaboration with civic and nonprofit organizations to drive positive change in the community. She explained, “We are very involved in the community and recently helped provide leadership and funding to open the first homeless shelter in Gwinnett county. This year we will fund over 100 nonprofit organizations that serve more than 500,000 people. In addition to our charitable giving, our 2000 employees touch thousands of lives each year through their volunteer efforts in programs like the Great Days of Service, Relay for Life, Adopt-A-Road, Salvation Army Angel Tree as well as food and blanket drives.”

Kathryn Kieser, Primerica Chief Reputation Officer and Chair of The Primerica Foundation, participates in a community panel.

When asked how Primerica gets buy-in for corporate social responsibility, she responded, “We do what is right. Our 130,000 life insurance licensed representatives sit across the kitchen table from thousands of middle-income families every night and teach them how money works, our Foundation focuses on creating self-sufficient families, and our employees are engaged in philanthropic activities. When your business focus is on improving the lives of others, buy-in isn’t an issue.”
