At Primerica, field representatives have the support of a skilled and committed Home Office team of more than 1,700 employees who are dedicated to helping more Main Street families become financially independent every day.*

The Home Office team is one of the most committed groups of people in business today. They work in executive leadership, marketing, communications, technology, life operations, legal and compliance, and training and development — areas where they are totally focused on serving the needs of the sales force, and they love their jobs!

The Bureau of Labor Statistics latest report states the average length of an employee’s tenure at one job is less than five years. Not at Primerica. The average length of employment of a Home Office worker? Almost 14 years!

Meet Jason …

For accountant Jason Wilmot, the company culture at the Home Office is one of the greater perks about working at Primerica.

“The best thing about working at Primerica is, undoubtedly, the people,” he says. “Everyone I have had an opportunity to interact with has made my experience here so incredible. With so many smiling faces and positive attitudes, it’s the people that make our company culture what it is and it’s second to none!”

Tis the season for giving and being thankful!

Aside from supporting the tens of thousands of field leaders across North America on their mission to bring financial literacy to more Main Street families, Primerica Home Office employees stay busy giving back to their communities.

There are a variety of ways employees can give of their time, resources and talents on a regular basis at Primerica. It’s just another reason our employees love their jobs!

As we near the close of another great year, here’s a recap of some of the generous corporate volunteering projects our community-minded Home Office employees have participated in:

  • Employee Giving Campaign – more than 100 Home Office employees pledged nearly $60,000 of their personal funds to the United Way and The Primerica Foundation.
  • Great Days of Service – 65 Home Office employees volunteered to work together to do landscaping, build a raised garden, paint benches and organize storage rooms at the Lawrenceville Boys and Girls Club.
  • Blood Drives – Primerica employees donated 183 life-saving pints of blood to the American Red Cross over the past four blood drives.
  • Food Drives – food drives held in Fall 2015 and Summer 2016 filled eight pick-up trucks and two 12-foot trailers.
  • Relay for Life – Relay for Life team members helped to raise more than $76,000 for the American Cancer Society. More than $46,000 was raised on campus and Primerica also provided a $30,000 Presenting Sponsorship donation. (Primerica has been a Presenting Sponsor of Relay for Life since 2010.)
  • Meals on Wheels – Primerica employees used their lunch hours to deliver more than 4,000 meals to local homes to ensure that seniors have access to adequate nutrition when family support, mobility and other resources are lacking.
  • Volunteer Day – 12 employees assisted the Gwinnett Technical College Horticulture Department to prepare their garden for planting and harvesting produce, which they sell to the community at a reduced price.
  • Junior Achievement (JA) – 45 employees volunteered at Finance Park in the Junior Achievement Discovery Center in Gwinnett.
  • Holiday Can-a-thon – 25 Primerica employees participated in the 34th annual 11Alive Holiday Can-a-thon. Volunteers assisted in the collection of food donations for The Salvation Army food pantry.

Not only do they help countless Main Street families with their financial needs, but one Michigan couple is taking the call to help to the world stage.

Ian and Jessica Prukner, of Auburn Hills, MI, had been looking for a meaningful way to give back ever since Ian left a full-time job as a minister at their local church 10 years ago to focus on growing their Primerica business full-time.* Only recently did the right opportunity present itself.

The pair decided to fund the construction of an orphanage through a friend’s non-profit organization, Angel House, which builds orphanages for homeless children across India. “There are so many people we are able to help by doing more,” she said.



The group home is being built in Kashyem, a farming region of approximately 40,000 to 50,000 people that is located on a mountainside just south of the Tibetan and Chinese border. This is an area known to have an abundance of orphaned and abandoned children vulnerable to child trafficking and child labor exploitation and abuse.

The orphanage will rescue a total of 25 boys or girls from the streets and give them a safe home, complete with house parents who are affiliated with a local church.

The children will be able to attend school because they have a permanent address, and they will be provided with new shoes and school supplies. (In India, children aren’t allowed to attend public school unless they have an address.)

The orphans will stay in the orphanage until they reach the age of 18 when they will be transitioned out on a case-by-case base, depending on whether they are going to enter the work force or go to college. Once those orphans leave the home, other orphans will take their place.

“It’s unbelievable to see the dreams that are starting to live because of what we’re doing together,” said Jessica. “I grew up wanting to make an impact — to make a difference. This has become such an incredible avenue to be able to do that. And it’s just the start.”

Once a year, Primerica Home Office employees get the satisfaction of nominating and choosing deserving non-profit organizations through the Employee Choice Grant Awards program.

This year, five area non-profit organizations were awarded $10,000 each after they were chosen in a company-wide vote in August.

The awards are designed for small, lesser-known non-profits that still do good and necessary things, but aren’t as widely known as some bigger organizations, such as the American Cancer Society.

Throughout the year, employees can nominate organizations for the awards. The Primerica Foundation researches the organizations, compiles a list and puts the list to a vote.

The top five winners for 2016 were FurKids, Lift Up Atlanta, Veterans Resource Center of Gwinnett, Happy Tails Pet Therapy and Spectrum Autism Support Group, Inc.

Grant recipients thanked the company and employees who personally donated to the Primerica Foundation at a celebratory luncheon held Oct. 14.

Ellen Gerstein, executive director of the Gwinnett Coalition for Health and Human Services, (Veterans Resource Center) said she wishes there were “more Primericas.” “You have been and remained a ‘top giver’ for so many non-profits and from someone who works with a lot of non-profits in Gwinnett County, thank you from all of us for that gift back into this community.”

The Employee Choice Grant Awards is only one area of community outreach funded by the Primerica Foundation. Each year, The Primerica Foundation contributes more than $1 million back to the community.

The Primerica Foundation was named a Top 25 Georgia-based company-sponsored foundation by the Atlanta Business Chronicle.

Doing good creates a desire to give back – and when you’re a successful Primerica business owner, like Mark and Lizette Rolls, of Mesa, AZ, that means finding ways to make a difference for some of the most vulnerable citizens in your community.*



When their two adult daughters were young, the Rollses started a family tradition of supporting their local homeless shelter’s Thanksgiving festivities. “We found out that Paz de Cristo, a homeless shelter and community center here in Mesa, needed volunteers to help them make a great Thanksgiving for the people who use their services,” recalls Lizette. “We thought this would be a great way to participate in a great cause and also to teach our girls the value of serving others.”


“Every year, we go as a family to prepare the food and then serve the men, women, and children who come. The first time I saw our girls sitting at the table, sharing a meal, and having a great time getting to know the people they were serving, it made me feel so good to be a part of this event. Our girls are grown now, but we still go back every year, as a family. As people, we’ve grown so much because of our involvement with this organization and because of our other charity work for the Wounded Warrior Project. It keeps us grounded and reminds us of what is truly important in life.”
