The Opportunity That Changed Everything
Mario and Franny Arrizon, of Riverside, CA, grew up watching their families struggle financially. Mario’s father owned a jewelry business that barely met the family’s needs and Franny’s mother worked hard as a single parent often having trouble paying bills. “We were very poor,” recalls Mario. “I saw how hard it was for my family and I wanted something different for my life – I just didn’t know what, or how to go about getting it.”

“I lived in an average house and we drove average cars,” says Franny. “My mom was a single parent and although my dad helped support us, I saw how stressful it was for my mom trying to come up with money every month to pay bills. Plus, both Mario and I experienced how our parents had to sacrifice time with us because they had to work to pay bills. We both decided we wanted a better life for ourselves. Finding Primerica changed everything for us.”

A Better Future
The Primerica business opportunity is more than simply a way to earn money. That’s part of it, but another part is the feeling of hope that being in control of your own future inspires. The Arrizons could have done like their parents had before them – found a job and spent their lives living paycheck to paycheck and repeating the same cycle they grew up in. But instead, they saw the business as their chance to not only do something great for themselves and their own future family, but also as a way to create a lifestyle that would allow them to give back to the people they care about.

“It’s a whole different world for us today than it was when we were growing up,” says Franny. “Before Primerica, I had never been on a vacation to someplace other than a relative’s house. Mario and I had never eaten in a nice restaurant or even been on an airplane. Now that we’ve started our family, it’s hard to imagine how people living on minimum wage do it. That could have been us, if it weren’t for Primerica!”

She adds, “We’ve always wanted to be successful – to be the ‘go to’ people in our family and our Primerica business lets us do that. I love that we’re able to be there for the people we care about, because we have the income to do it. For example, Mario’s parents now work in construction. There have been times where work has been slow or non-existent and we’ve been able to pay their mortgage for a couple of months. And when our son was born, Mario basically took the whole month off. He couldn’t have done that if we didn’t have Primerica.”

A New Tradition of Success
As entrepreneurs, Mario and Franny have the freedom to build their business on their own terms. And that freedom has translated into a great income – and the ability to have something they never had when they were growing up. “One of the best things that’s happened to us because of Primerica is we are free to set new family traditions,” says Franny. “We both missed out on time with our parents because they had to work. Their schedule was determined by someone else. Being able to be with the people you love, when you want to, is one of the greatest things we’ve been able to experience through Primerica.”

Mario adds, “This business has made a tremendous impact on us. Our income gives us freedom to make decisions without considering the cost, but more than that, the freedom that can come with a good income has allowed us to build stronger relationships with our friends, family and each other. And that’s priceless!”

*Primerica income figures are based upon rolling 12‑month gross cash flow (including advances) as of September 2012. The cash flows stated are not intended to demonstrate the earnings of typical RVPs/representatives. Rather, the cash flows that have been cited reflect the potential that comes with building your business, and there is no guarantee that you will achieve any specific cash flow level. Most RVPs/representatives do not achieve the levels illustrated. In the 12‑month period ending in December 2011, Primerica paid a total of $504,514,944 in compensation to the sales force at an average of $5,544 per licensed representative. Average RVP earnings are typically higher. Actual gross cash flow is, among other factors, dependent upon the size and scale of a representative’s organization, the number of sales and the override spread on each sale, and the ability and efforts of you and your downlines. Having said this, Primerica provides a tremendous opportunity for individuals who work hard and who desire to develop a business with strong income potential.
